Please. Get a flu shot. And get your kids vaccinated as well.
I have a 7 year old with influenza and 2 younger kids who were exposed. It is not going to be a fun week.

We all got the flu shot...and still got the Influenza. But..a different strand than what the flu shot covered. There's quite a breakout here in Michigan with this Influenza A strand that the shot did not cover!!
Regardless - hope you are well soon! Influenza A was NOT a fun time in our house!!
